Georgie Scully Ceramics hand makes a tonal spectrum of tableware and home accessories using the slip casting method, from her south east London studio.
Pick the perfect tone for your home and curate your own unique collection of tonal pieces, to be used and enjoyed daily. Each contemporary piece is finely polished, which accentuates the clay body’s naturally smooth surface.
Once cast, each piece is bisque fired, sanded with an extremely fine grade paper, glazed on the inside only, and receives a final polish after its glaze firing.
Although these are cast using a known industrial method, Georgie intends to keep the handmade nature of each product, giving each piece a sense of soul with it’s own story.
Georgie Scully graduated with a BA in Ceramic Design at Central Saint Martins in 2013. Since then, Georgie has been working on a number of collaborations and commissions with other small businesses.
