A friend once asked my Sister and I what games we liked to play as children. We looked at each other and replied that we made stuff and played shop. I guess some things don't change...

 

When I was 14 years old my Sister and I set up a little shop in my bedroom where we would make jewellery that we would then sell at school. We called it A L'Etage 2 as my room was the second room at the top of the stairs. This soon became a thriving small business that would later inspire me to set up my real jewellery business in 1996. Ever since then I have been selling at fairs and thinking about opening an actual shop.

 

After more than 20 years in business I decided to take the leap and follow my dream. I opened a shop in Crystal Palace in South East London where I live. The shop had to be called A L'Etage 2!

It is the aim with A L'Etage 2 to only sell high quality handmade pieces by individual Artists and Designer Makers like myself.
