Charlotte Reid studied and gained a 1st class honours degree in  Jewellery and Silversmithing at Edinburgh college of art under the teaching of Dorothy Hogg MBE and William Kirk. She remained there to partake in an artist in residency and gained a travel bursary award from the RSA and travelled extensively in  China where she gained both inspiration and work experiences. Charlotte has exhibited and sold her work throughout the UK and Europe including the 'Yorkshire Sculpture park' UK.  'Galerie Marzee' The Netherlands and 'The Kelvingrove Museum' Scotland.

Charlotte likes to work with both silver and gold and tries to incorporate interesting stones and objects she finds.  Her work begins by experimenting and exploring ideas, new tools and techniques. She likes to be able to produce pieces that are effective for everyday wear but also like to create more fun and frivolous pieces that can sit alone as a sculptural object or can be worn as a statement piece.

Charlotte has two children and lives and work in London.
